Our ability to harness the ideas, experiences and talents of Fitch’s diverse and global workforce is integral. We are committed to increasing diversity, ensuring equal opportunity for all and strengthening our inclusive culture where all members of the Fitch community can thrive.
We are delighted to announce our partnership with BYP, an organization that aims to "harness and elevate the status of the Black professional". This partnership will not only allow Fitch to connect with a much wider talented audience but will also expose employees to great opportunities to learn, develop and grow in their career with access to BYPs resources and events including their converted flagship leadership conference taking place on 28-29 October. To find out more about our new partner, visit their website.
Fitch is proud to support the formation of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). ERGS are groups of employees who join together as a community in the workplace based on shared characteristics, similar backgrounds or life experiences. All of our ERGs welcome allies who want to learn more about these communities and get involved. One third of all Fitch Group employees are engaged with at least one of our ERGs, highlighting their real business impact while providing opportunities to have an open dialogue about the issues that matter most.

BALANCE Founder & Global Chair,
Sr. Market Research Associate
Working at Fitch is an exciting and ever evolving experience. As the company continues to grow, I feel that I am given the opportunity to grow with it and be a pivotal part of its diversity equity & inclusion narrative. Founding and chairing the company’s first Black & Latinx Employee Resource group has been one of my most rewarding initiatives so far.
InspirAsian Founder & Global Chair,
In these challenging times when so many peoples of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage face unprovoked violence, harassment and discrimination, InspirAsian offers a space where Fitch employees of such heritage and their allies can find solace and solidarity, and a platform where they can be heard, be seen, be validated and be honored.
FPN Founder & Global Chair,
I have always enjoyed working at Fitch and find it to be one of the most welcoming environments in my career progression. However, the LGBTQAI+ community is not always visible, and it can be challenging to connect with coworkers when you don’t know if they are allies or a part of the community. I founded FPN to help foster an environment of transparency, education, inclusion and acceptance and have found more freedom in knowing my coworkers support me no matter how I identify.
EMBRACE Founder & Global Chair,
Senior Governance & Contracts Officer
Working at Fitch is like being part of a big family – we have our traditions but are always open to growth, culture transformation and innovation for the betterment of our peers, clients and the wider community. I love that my passion for change, diversity and equity for people of all backgrounds* is embraced here. I look forward to more collaboration with the leadership and allies at Fitch as we step into the future!
Women’s Network Founder & Global Chair,
Having worked my way up in the company I’ve benefited from networking and support from others, and a key focus of the WN is to assist others to make connections and access support to grow their careers.
Working Parents Network Founder & Global Network Chair,
One of the reasons people stay at Fitch is the culture. We work hard, but being accommodating and giving the required flexibly for people to manage and balance work and family life is so important in retaining talent. Society used to imply it was a choice between work or family – it is not unrealistic or unreasonable to aim to achieve and accomplish both – we aim to ensure that all working parents get a chance to achieve these goals at Fitch. We have started the journey towards Fitch becoming an employer of choice for working parents and that is very exciting indeed.
Green Wave Network Founder & Global Chair,
Green Wave, the environmental group at Fitch, has allowed me to bring my passion to work and to meet other like-minded people at the company. I’ve learned so much from, and together with my colleagues while having fun at the same time. Most importantly, I’m able to act on a cause I care deeply about within the context of my company.
ENHANCED TALENT MANAGEMENT IS OUR COMMITMENT TO BUILDING AND DEVELOPING A DIVERSE TALENT BASE AND AN INCLUSIVE AND EQUITABLE CULTURE WHERE ALL EMPLOYEES CAN THRIVE, REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AND BE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY.
“PATH PROGRAMS” VISION AND MISSION
- Increased engagement and retention of diverse talent
- Improved pipeline of diverse leaders
- Proactively provide a supported development path
CreditPath was something I really wanted to do because I hadn’t worked in 18 years and I thought it would be the perfect way to transition into working again.
I was hungry to learn and the training was excellent.
I became really close with the rest of my cohort. Everyone is so supportive of each other. We were all excited to be back in the workforce. All of us, while we were at home, have been highly effective doing other things. Everyone is highly motivated and we can bring that energy and passion now to Fitch.
I think we do really have that inclusive culture here. When my ForwardPath cohort came together, it became a true celebration of diversity. We had a mix of ethnic diversity and cultural diversity all growing and learning together.
Chief Credit Officer,
The ultimate reason that we have ForwardPath is to take our highest performing female directors and give them a platform that can get them to the next level.
The programme is great exposure for the individual and it’s great for Fitch as we get to tap into talent that might otherwise have stayed in the shadows.
I became a sponsor because of three questions I asked myself; 1. Do you think that men and women are equal? 2. Do you think that equality has yet been achieved?. And then the third question is, do you want to do something about it?
I think anyone would question themselves if you answer the first two questions and then you come to the conclusion that you don’t want to do something about it.
Chief of Staff,
Global Analytical Management,
TalentPath is such a clear example of Fitch’s commitment and investment in cultivating its own, diverse talent pool.
The benefits of the TalentPath program are tremendous for both employees and our company.
The program builds on our strong, collaborative work environment. It offers a learning opportunity for employees from underrepresented groups to develop, strengthen and broaden the right skill sets that are needed for future roles and career progression.
It is so exciting to see such a targeted development program that will surely diversify and strengthen our talent bench, which keeps our firm on the path to continued success.
